CHARACTER SHEET

There was murder on the dance floor!

Slasher High: Prom Night, 85. When the dance hits its peak and the punch bowl gets spiked, the lights go out, and a scream cuts through the gym. When they flick back on, Diana Davis—the Honey Crisps’ ‘it girl’—sinks to the floor, knife protruding and blood pooling around her. Chaos erupts as the principal locks down the hall and the hunt for a murderer begins, revealing liars, greed, and a killer’s motive hidden beneath the prom-night glitter.

Includes: The full character sheet and rules to the game that will be emailed to you one week out from the party, cash bar at the event, and celebratory cake from Hidden Gem Bake Shop. We will be decking out the ANAF like a proper 80’s prom night, complete with a photographer to capture the evening, and the photos will be included!

Reserve your spot

Get your friends together and choose your character in the left drop-down menu. You can find the character breakdown sheet above, which includes a brief description, character traits, and the gender assigned to each character. *gender bending is highly recommended!

How to prepare

Once you receive your emailed character sheet from us, please review it several times and start to think creatively about how you’d love to act, dress, speak, and play your character. Each character is given goals that they will aim to complete during the game. We will include different abilities, clues, secrets, and money in your package, which adds to everyone’s side quests and detection.

First-time players

Our murder mystery games are non-scripted, which may feel a little intimidating at first, but don’t worry. We send you plenty of info on your character sheet closer to the event date so you can feel prepared. In the meantime, consider thrift shopping or upcycling an outfit for your character based on the description we’ve provided.

❊ FAQs

You’ve got questions,
we’ve got answers

  • There is only one of each character available, so please ensure you get the one you want before it’s gone! You can purchase multiple by ‘registering’ one at a time, which adds them to your cart at the top of the page. Once you have all you want in your cart, check out online - remember to add everyone’s individual email addresses who will be playing those parts.

  • Playing a murder mystery game requires just three basic attributes - a sense of fun, an ability to strike up a conversation with another person, and the willingness to pretend to be someone else for an evening. If you can do that, you should have no trouble!

  • Besides a willingness to play your heart out, we ask participants:

    1. Dress the part, consider thrifting, borrowing, or using fun items from your own closet for a costume that your character would rock.

    2. A printout of your character sheet + a pencil or pen to take notes. Your character sheet contains important information you’ll need on the night of, including people you know in the game, your goals, abilities, and more!

    3. Please do not bring any ‘dangerous’ props such as actual knives, fake guns, sharp objects, or other potentially dangerous objects.

  • This event will be run at the Ucluelet ANAF, and both alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks will be available at the bar for purchase. Nikita of Hidden Gem Bake Shop will be creating an ‘on-theme’ cake for us to enjoy!

  • This event will be captured by Shorewood Collective, and any photos and videos may be used in the promotion of future events and to market the packed game. Please note that all ticket holders confirm that they allow the use of their photo in any marketing material from the night.

Photos will be made available for players after the event. We would love it if you shared and tagged both @killernightsclub and @shorewoodcollective
